A website that explores the relationship between time/memory and simulacra/simulation.
The website consists of two pages - one in which an event happens and the second page which serves as a visual record of each happening. Every hour the image displayed on the first web page randomly changes. The artificial ‘organism’ continues to evolve even if no one is looking.
Creating the images used on the site involved real life activity and tangible colors and textures before it was given a virtual existence.
The result is the creation of simulacra where the original is lost.
